Hotel Het Oude Postkantoor in the charming village of Brummen is a gem that perfectly blends history with modern comfort. Each of the 6 guest rooms, named after the old functions of the building, is unique and thoughtfully designed to provide everything you might need for a special stay. The spacious rooms with old tiles and writing desks offered a glimpse into the past, while the French balconies provided lovely views of old Brummen and the church. The accommodating owners made us feel truly at home, catering to our varied needs and ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable stay.Sitting area in some units allowed for relaxation after a busy day exploring the beautiful green surroundings of the Achterhoek, perfect for cycling and walking enthusiasts. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore the area, from the small town of Bronkhorst to the river IJssel, offering a mix of activities for guests to enjoy.The open bathrooms, once planning-logistic rooms, boasted double sinks, walk-in showers, and all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. From bathrobes to free toiletries, the attention to detail in the rooms added a touch of luxury to the experience. Breakfast in the large hall was a delightful start to the day, setting the tone for memorable moments in this cozy and special hotel.
